OF KLAB
I work on education operations and marketing in Content Team 1.
After my previous contract ended, I looked for a role that would let me continue my career. I joined through Seoul’s Future Youth Jobs program in June 2023 and moved to a full-time position in January 2024.
I was nervous during my introduction, but listening to other applicants helped me settle in. The questions drew on my personal statement, and I remember feeling that the interviewers listened with respect.
My earlier experience running education programs and communicating with members of the public was useful. I developed my marketing skills after joining, with guidance from colleagues.
We plan and operate courses for individual learners and programs for companies and universities. Preparing programs and communicating with participants are important across both types of work.
Scheduling matters most to me. I try to leave room for unexpected tasks, keeping in mind that my schedule can affect my colleagues’ work.
We use names rather than titles and treat each other with respect. My colleagues take responsibility for their work and give prompt, specific feedback. I also appreciate their consideration for one another. At the time of this interview, the option to work remotely was another positive part of my experience.
I remember receiving positive feedback on a program report I prepared as an intern. I studied earlier reports and learned tools for organizing data, then put that learning into practice.
I would recommend it to people who want to learn. New tasks can be difficult, but it is rewarding to become more capable through the work.
